Lobbying firm memo exposes the fear of …being exposed. #OWS #OccupyNashville

They are now officially “afraid” of the threat of OWS to the banks and to Wall Street.  The lobbying firm Clark Lytle Geduldig & Cran ,  a firm with former Boehner staffers as partners,  is undertaking to:

to construct “negative narratives” about the protests and allied politicians

Open Channel – Lobbying firm’s memo spells out plan to undermine Occupy Wall Street

“If we can show that they have the same cynical motivation as a political opponent it will undermine their credibility in a profound way”

Quite the ironic statement.  Political opponents have “cynical motivations”.  Itself as statement that clearly illustrates the root of the problem.  And the idea that “donors” support things because they want to defeat opponents rather than ACHIEVE some common good (and yes,  “opponents” do tend to oppose things that work toward common good if they perceive that it doesn’t pursue their own good.  But there is a SLIGHT (sic)  possibility that donors give because they want to help a cause to get it’s message out,  a message that affects even those who oppose the cause (or more accurately,  oppose the mythological construct given to them by the right wing media purporting to describe the movement ).

But the victory here is that the fear of being exposed has been , uh….exposed.
