I see that the Live Writer blog is severely out of date and abandoned.  The latest version/update was now over a year ago (May 10, 2009).  There seems to be a mass migration amongst the techies to Chrome,  but I still want a blog editor that I can easily launch from the browser (or is a part of the browser) to immediately start a blog post from a quote that I have selected ,  and it opens an editor with the selected area in quote style along with its URL.

A look through the latest plugins for Chrome gives me little to see as a worthy replacement for Windows Live Writer.  (Note:  I just upgraded my desktop computer to Chrome 5.0 beta)
