This “People’s Prayer Breaskfast” is to the “National Parayer Breakfast” as #occupyfaithDC is to what has been communicated by the “go to church on Sunday ” use of the hashtag #occupychurch. A self-absorbed, blow your trumpet before men proclamation of your spirituality which actually is condescending toward the very idea of protest. Those utilizing #occupy tags to seriously integrate the concerns of #OWS movements across the country with a theological stance that confronts us with what God is telling us about justice. We have numerous examples in the Scriptures, if we read them.
