These people are dangerous.  With these dodges of reality,  who knows what else they’re capable of? 

Republicans’ deficit reduction platform, which may have helped catapult them into the majority, is about to run headlong into a hard reality: Many of their key policy goals will increase the deficit dramatically.

Unfortunately,  now that they’ve actually been elected,  these people are now faced with actually FIXING all this.  But apparently,  they have no idea how.  No idea on how to govern.  Only on how to GET ELECTED.  Like we’ve all been saying before,  how can they be expected to FIX things when the “things” they propose to “fix” are “things” that were in motion the ENTIRE 8 years of the Bush administration.  One small bit of evidence:  “The economic nightmare was underway BEFORE Obama got elected.  Mull  on that for a moment will you, GOP peeps?  Because if any sane person,  uncluttered by GOP voodoo spells,  would see that something was amiss which our illustrious Bush administration was either CLUELESS about,  or COMPLICIT in (in that case,  CLUELESS about the impact of that in which they were complicit,  so BOTH). 

Happy New Year!  What kind of 2011 are we in for in America?  It’s hard to think about without immediately building up immense pessimism,  given who will be now be given leeway to “legislate” idiocy and ideological measures that defy reality.
