Dave Winer,  often dubbed the “Father of RSS” ,  explains how RSS is still going strong,  underneath it all; “all” as in things like Twitter and Facebook.  It seems to me that it’s just the READERS that have seen far less wide usage. Twitter,  has,  in fact,  become my “reader”,  and Dave acknowledges that this has been Twitter’s success:  that it shows us what is news NOW.
