The days before the RallyToRestoreSanity #rally4sanity (or “My Week in DC part 2”)

Soon after I got to Sojourners (and checking in via Foursquare),  since Bob had some work to do for another 3 hours or so,  we made plans to meet again at 6pm and go grab a bite.  So I headed over to Columbia Avenue where several Church of the Saviour ministries line the streets:  The Potter’s House,  a coffeehouse/bookstore that’s been there since the 50’s,  became my hangout for the next 2 and a half days.  I also took some video in the neighborhood,  and so I’ll grab some of that out of my hours of footage from the week and link to that here and also via twitter and facebook updates.

I also talked to Keith Martin on Friday,  who was manning the bookstore checkout,  and also taking some lunch-time crowd checkouts when the other checkout was busy.  Keith wrote a book,  A Liberal Mandate.  I “point the camera at it”,  and turn it over to look at the info about Keith on the back of the book,  and then the brief interview starts.
