Although I am still actively researching alternatives to my Webhost, I have seen a relative calm after the “migration†of my account to the “new†platform (a platform that has , to put it mildly, been a major disaster for the users. A mass exodus has taken place. I no longer have any hope of getting any sort of competent answer to my questions.
But since things are up now, and pages are loading, I decided to go on and upgrade my blog to 3.01. So here it is.
I want to find a Windows host that can run the apps like they have in the Windows Web Platform installer allows one to do on a Windows machine. I have Drupal and WordPress installed and working on my Windows 7 laptop. I’d like to find a Windows host with good support and an option to RUN a Windows Web Platform installer on that host, so that all permissions are set and account logins sync-ed. Surely that exists somewhere (and stop calling me “Shirleyâ€).
