Jeff Jarvis contributes to a panel on the “new face” of journalism.

Jeff Jarvis is one of my favorite voices re:  the kind of journalism that is now “taking over”.  “News papers can no longer own the news” Jarvis says.  Previously they did because they owned the production mechanism. They no longer “own” the distribution.

Jarvis:  “I’m very excited aboput the future of news.  The future of NEWSPAPERS?  –shrug– The form isn’t really the issue for us (he and the students he teaches).  It’s the news and the journalism that matter to society…”
