My previous post re: the president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary TODAY also followed my reading about how FORMER President of SBTS Duke McCall is still going strong at 97. He was prez when I was there 1978-81, except that he needed Roy Honeycutt to step in as interim President when he had health problems in 1980-81. Several years later, I had simply assumed that McCall, given his serious health issues then, was no longer around. And that was 5 years ago itself. Nope, 30 years later, at 97, he’s still with us and active. And the contrast could hardly be greater in these two presidents.
