Sabbath unplugged | Geez Magazine.

From the website  of Geez magazine.  I met the editor, Aiden Enns,  at The Wild Goose Festival (June 23-26, 2011 in Shakori Hills, NC),  and hope to have a video chat w/ him via Skype in the next week or so.

I sent for a back issue (so I chose their “Cyber” issue (Winter 2010, issue 20),  and am working my way through.  I have come to a place in my journey into and within and sometimes “out  of” tech (and online tech in particular) where I am in a good place for dialogue with many folks in all of those places (ie ,  the “into”, “within”, and “out-of”)

I have a sense that I will find more in technology to defend than will much of the writing in this issue of Gees would —i’ve only read a 2 or 3 articles so far,  so I have  no way of knowing,  but my first article was from Aiden and I sensed a slightly heavier “rejection/questioning” emphasis.  But we shall see.  This area really engages  me.  I wish I had been exposed to Geez BEFORE Wild Goose so that I could have done some further interviewing on this with my video gear while I was there.  But “thanks” to Skype,  I can pull some of  that off.
