This article sounds what seems to me to be something of importance for the way we think about Social Media in the church. Part of the â€œherdâ€ movement toward ever more immersive and immediate adoption of â€œmaking publicâ€ and â€œgiving permissionsâ€ for apps to leverage our member info is raising questions about what we may be surrendering in our haste to â€œopen it upâ€. We may be giving away more information than we realize.
Scoble and many others say it is because of SEARCH that Facebook has done the about face on privacy.
