Here is what I love about Jesse’s book. In a way that seems very accessible to the untrained-in-psychology layperson, he has brought us some questions about the differences in relationships that have been brought to the fore by this explosion in “always-onâ€, “hyperconnectivityâ€.
The book is not about the tools, but about the effects of having such a set of tools, and the certainty of even more coming. And it gets right at the heart of what I consider to be important questions that the church needs to be keeping out in front of us as we seek to discern the proper adaptation to the online world.
