Imagine what could happen if all the Christians in the USA stood together with one voice and cried out in the name of the Lord of Life, the one who is the resurrection and the life, “STOP THE KILLING NOW!”

and oh yes,  it is a sad irony that in complete contrast to Steven’s lament,  it also has a comment (anonymous, no less) that is completely typical of so many in the church that basically justify it all on the basis of “wars are fought to give us the right to protest war”.  Well,  thank you very much, anonymous,  for helping us into the situation where not only are we more predisposed toward war as an “option”,  we are now in a place where we elevate its position on the list to some national god.  Idolatry.
