My son got a bad invasion of spyware,  which took over the Wallpaper (it says “Your computer is infected with spyware” and has these fake looking Windows Security System warnings (they are Red windows) warning of spyware intrusions. 

I am presently running Spybot Search and Destroy for the 3rd time (this time in Safe Mode,  since they kept coming right back after each reboot the previous two times)

I don’t know who to trust in looking up solutions for this. If Spybot doesn’t get it this time,  I am going to run AVG scan (AVG, the free version)  has been running on this system for quite some time.  Then I’ll try AdAware, since I have heard of them and used it several years ago.
