High School Days Behind Us (For Now)

My son Brian attended his last day of high school yesterday.  Still hard to fathom.  How did this day arrive so fast?  My mind is boggled.  I guess this may well happen again in 9 years when our daughter Kelli does the same.  But Brian is the first,  and part of me dreads the march down the aisle to the tune of pomp and circumstance (happens on May 19th at around 10am CST).  I don’t know what’s going to come over me at that time.  In another couple of months,  I’ll be going to an enrolled freshmen “overnight” on campus,  and there the next step will become a “culture” and a “place” into which my son will next embark (Middle Tennessee State U.).  Wow.
