I can anticipate having a few more problems with Moyers’ approach than I have in the past,  having been exposed now ,  over the past year,  to various insights of Radical Orthodoxy (via Stanley Hauerwas, JKA Smith, William Cavanaugh, Daniel Bell) ,  since they have ,  espeically Hauerwas and Smith,  a lot to say on “Natural Reason” and what we’re talking about when we use the phrase “Common Sense”.  The series runs in the slot where NOW used to run (8pm Central time, Fridays).  I downloaded the mp3 of the show from this past Friday.  I’ll listen to it as I head down to check the server room at work,  which had problems last night when the AC failed,  and things overheated.  I may well have some comments on it when I return later.
