Don’t get me wrong, I agree with AOC that we should be concerned about the environment (granted we have a lot of disagreements in specifics) but using the Bible to justify your politics is a big no no.

She was doing so in retort to the Press Secretary doing so to supposedly support doing nothing. And "justify your politics" is a bit of a shallow notion of what is actually showing that the Biblical idea is that we humans are given responsibility; not to just "leave it to God".
