The Ecological Crisis represents what is the most direct assault and consequence of the disengagement from life of the gnostic heresy. To segregate salvation and spirituality into some “internal” transaction is a false move and a distortion of the gospel of Jesus. For sure, there are things happening “within us” as we engage the world from within The Kingdom of God, as citizens of that Kingdom. But the Kingdom of God is AMONG you and not just WITHIN you. That “within” had better reference US as it’s citizenry, and not just individuals. Those who favor the individual often do so because they do not want to acknowledge the dangers of the evil that is unleashed by collective moves to secure safety and prosperity for a few. We are ALL connected. WE and EVERYTHING.
