This page : http://www.episcopalchurch.org/page/eco-justice under the “Ministries” tab actually shows up as a drop down from the Home page, so they have the best “presence” yet found.
This is not exactly a glowing report. As I have been maintaining, this seems to me to be warranting a significant, theologically challenging and reformation-inducing confrontation that strikes at the core of who we are as a church. That would seem to me to be worthy of some form of Front Page presence. To maybe crack the listings supplied as to “Who We Are” or “What We Believe”, or SOMETHING.
But , so far, this is one of the best “blips” of coverage I’ve found yet. I tweeted a few minutes ago that this quick survey of mine is simply on the Home and First Links level amongst the major denominations. I am well aware that there are movements of people within these church denominations that are seeking to awaken their denomnations. I am simply observing the extent to which this has begun changing the way the denomination wants to present itself on the Climate Crisis. Thus far, I’d say, we’ve a LONG WAY to go.
