Church Businesses Usually All Business

More on Cluetran Manifesto Theses 3: Conversations among human beings sound human. They are conducted in a human voice.

Churches can miss the boat by being too “theologically brochure-like”.  It’s the theological version of corporate-speak.  I think this is especially true in “Church related businesses”.  They are “commissioned” bythe Church body to “be successful businesses”.  Too often, this results in the running of the enterprise more like “business world” businesses and less like “ministries”,  which they claim to be.  The claim to be “ministry” is hypocrisy.  I honestly feel some of the businessworld people are beginning to see the “good business” in higher values (see Love Is the Killer App in Fast Company article),  while the Church related businesses grow the other way.  MOre on this article in “Love As Killer App”
