Comcast , AT&T and Verizon preventing US broadband from competition

We must no longer ignore the problem of big corporation  monopolies of broadband service trying to undermine and prevent such community nets as Chattanooga TN(or why they stall implementing this themselves).  Problem is their monopoly,  and the lack of competitors with those speeds ,  so they have  no incentive to implement what we are now obviously capable of providing.  I HATE these tactics,  and these companies don’t deserve to be in business if they don’t WANT to compete.  They don’t want to because they’re gouging us and they like it that way.  I’m pissed as hell at the Obama lip service to “freedom of the Internet”,  yet show no more balls than the Republican administrations in sticking up for true competition. They seem perfectly content to allow the gouging of the US citizenry on broadband. The US is woefully behind other Western (and Asian)  countries  in the level of  broadband  Communities need to have the balls to say NO to monopoly pressure and serve the public interest. And there’s no excuse like “it’s different in other countries”.  We  have Chattanooga TN.  And it is working great.  We’re getting screwed,  and nothing will change unless the American people demand  it  and not give it into the hands of the likes of the anti-competitive Comcast, AT&T and Verizon.
