So,  it’s the week following my annual trek with my Dad and two brothers to the SEC Men’s basketball tourney (and Kentucky won again,  but got a 4 seed while Florida got a two,  and besides the discrepancy in seeding,  got the easiest bracket of the four (in Pittsburgh’s bracket,  arguably the weakest of the 4 number ones,  and BYU #3, Wisconsin #4 (the latter two also arguably the weakest 3 and 4).  On top of that,  their two  first round games are in Tampa.  They couldn’t have asked for much better. Nothing past their first game is a “gimme”,  but I would not be surprised to see them get all the way to the Southeast Final where Pitt awaits unless they get knocked off,  which COULD happen. But with Wisconsin and Kansas St. Utah St. and Belmont in there with them,  who knows? They SHOULD get through that collection if they don’t go cold.

Kentucky got seeded with the Ohio State bracket (the top #1 seed) ,  also including North Carolina and Syracuse and West Virginia.
