Koppel: The death of “real news” #falseEquivalency #partisanMedia

The quotes in the title are mine.  Koppel did not put them  in quotes. And therein lies the rub.

I can’t go with Koppel on this  one either.  The line to cross into  “partisan” is always being moved by those who try to claim that they are “non-partisan”.  I think it’s a myth.  And it simply isn’t true that any expression of “outrage” is automatically partisan.  There ARE things that rightfully invite and DEMAND outrage.

This comes dreadfully close to saying media should be “value free”.  I just have a problem with all this false equivalency.  And  I think Koppel has joined the  fray.
