People Keep Talking

These things (see quote below) have been brewing for months,  and people keep writing articles about it,  but I’d perhaps like to hear of a massive national human blockade or something;  something to say to these lunatics “no way,  you evil, arrogant, dangerous idiots”.  How about our brave media getting this unbelievable nonsense onto the airwaves and spelling it out for the amazingly oblivious American public?  H0w about being actual news reporters?  (There are a few “non-radical” types sounding concerns,  like John Dean here: Leading Experts Say Congress Must Stop An Attack on Iran: Is That Constitutionally Possible?Absolutely – According to Experts on Both Sides of the Aisle via Josh—from this same post that is the source listed at the bottom of this post)

via Talking Points Memo:

From The Guardian today:

US preparations for an air strike against Iran are at an advanced stage, in spite of repeated public denials by the Bush administration, according to informed sources in Washington.

The present military build-up in the Gulf would allow the US to mount an attack by the spring. But the sources said that if there was an attack, it was more likely next year, just before Mr Bush leaves office.

So there you have it. No real surprise. Just about anyone paying any attention understands that’s where things stand: Gun loaded. Safety lock still on. In the hands of an Administration with an itchy trigger finger.

I’ve seen the bumperstickers that say “Had Enough?”  and a “W” sign crossed through with the Red circle and slash,  that “W” sign that so many so proudly display on their back windows of their vehicles.  I guess W is the Wild At Heart president now.
