To the ones out there who continue to defend the Republican regime we have running things now,  I say,  wake up.  There is no possibility that any leader who knowingly keeps a lid on such goings on as Hastert appears to have done, would be welcome in the halls of government,  unless of course,  he’s a part of a good ol’ boys network that is not about to give up its position(s) of power.  No Democrat (or any other ‘crat’ ) would survive this.  Fox and the pundits would be unrelenting.  This is truly fascinating (in a disturbing and scary way) to see.  People,  these politicians are NOT moral.  They are the precise opposite.  How many more of these things,  being uncovered and confirmed almost daily,  does it take to realize you’ve severely misplaced your trust? So abandon these charlatans,  because that’s what they are.  Not charlatans because one of their number is sick,  but because they knowingly did nothing about it,  and kept it a secret.  If you’re going to continue to vote for this party of unceasing corruption,  at least have the integrity to stop parroting the nonsense that they and you stand for “morality”.  That;s something of a cynical joke now.  (None of this is to say that you have a “moral” alternative in “the other alternative”,  which is a big part of our problem as a nation.  But I surely want these arrogant, fraudulent criminals out of there,  so we can at least look at where we need to go.  The group in charge think we’re headed in the right direction,  and that’s dangerous.
