I’m glad I helped you to laugh, since I know that your not feeling great may well have to do with the gravity of the realities with your friend Mike, and also Dave and Larry you posted about. Even if that’s not the whole reason, I feel good knowing that helped. I know how much laughter can help get over hurdles, or give us the strength to even muster some strength. I’ve had some rough patches in the past month or so where I was feeling isolated and unappreciated, and when something makes me laugh, it goes a long away toward lifting a lot of the feeling of heaviness (I guess thus the phrase “levity”). Yes “levity” is a gift.
