One of Luther’s “big things” that changed the church was the proclamation that “grace alone can save.” Sure, I believe that too, but the problem comes in when people take Luther only by his words instantly forgetting that it was Luther’s own discipleship to Jesus Christ that allowed him to truly be saved by that grace.
