Yeah, that’s a pretty sweet link. I sent that to my pastor a few hours ago, who likes to turn the dial to the right to listen to the hate from Michael Savage and turns the dial to the left to hear the funny, truthful, yet not-the-Church Air America on the other side. He’s a Christian Pacifist/Anarchist, much like me, though — in fact, I get much of my inspiration from him, and he’s a total dork. I love him.
“Funny, thruthful, yet not the Church” is a good description of AF. I remarked a couple days ago of how its a shame that there isn’t a “Christian Radio” with an actual Christ-centered view of the world, focusing on living in a global society , and in global community. The forces that have Christian Right folks afraid of and skeptical of anything “cross-cultural” or “collaborative” or “U.N.-lIke is working against the idea that there actually is a HUMAN family, and that this takes precedence over national interests, and forbids the use of war as a means to accomplish ANYTHING. The idea that Peace Activists are somehow “antiChristian” is really that they are not nationalists like they want us to be. It’s all rather troubling that they can arrive at that after reading the gospels.
