My annual virus signature update subscription is due to end in January, which means it is time for me to start looking to buy the next version of SystemWorks. For reasons that seem dumb to me, it is almost always just a few dollars more than the subscription cost – albeit after the requisite three or four rebates. I’ll check back to see what you find out.
Gary,
Last year I bought System Works 2003, which is where my expiring NAV subscription was from. I picked up NAX Pro 2004 last night and installed it, and its presently scanning the 3rd of my 3 hard drives (30g, 80g, and 80g). It doesn’t seem inordinately slow as some of the comments I read were saying. then again, I have about 768 mb of RAM, which might help.
