Speaking of “Holy Conversation”: Here is one of the variety that we in the church need to have in a theological context. It was Naomi Klein’s 2014 book, “This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs The Climate”, that launched me into a mission/calling from which I have not turned back (and won’t be for the duration). I went straight from reading this book to various theology sources from whom I had previously heard or read talk on this issue of the ecological crisis. That this conversation is becoming so “holy” to the secular world inspires/motivates me all the more to be saying to the churches: “Let’s be about defending life! And no more crucial place to begin as with the very cradle of life itself!”
