Just re-installed after a copmplete backup and re-installed Kit to a different directory, and it seems to work!

I wish I could find another alternative News Aggregator. The one in Radio is always bringing back posts I’ve already “checked off”. It also requires way too much “checking of boxes”. It needs to reverse the process and let me select stories to Keep (or at least give that option), for I discard the vast majority of news items collected Continue Reading
When one goes through computer problems such as what I had over the past 24 hours (fixed now, I THINK), it seems to have a dampening, discouraging effect on EVERYTHING, like how I feel about my job hunting prospects. Silly, but wat happnens is that various doubts about abilities and self-confidence suffers. I feel better now, naturally, now that the Continue Reading
Turn on the “back up feature” in your local pages at http://127.0.0.1:5335/system/pages/prefs?page=6.5 in order to keep backups of all renedered files. This is where I found a copy of the last good home page generated for my blog, and uploaded it with my ftp program. Then later, Radio began working normally again after I did some things
i just wanna refresh my home page! It’s sick and broken, and I’m unhappy about it…… OK! After re-setting my ftp password (actually, creating a new one and using it in my ftp prefs), and turning on auto upstreaming, Radio went through the entire site and uploaded everything anew…until I noticed that the graphics weren’t loading on the pages that Continue Reading
What’s happening with Radio? It keeps deleting various index files on my server, or the FTP is messing up and not finishing uploading the file. Is it the server having problems opening and closing connection???? It seems it is the ISP (Comcast) route the info is taking, or at least this is what Bellsouth is looking into right now.
I sure wish I could figure out what happened to my Kit’s News Aggregator. For about 3 months, I had been using Kit Dashboard, mainly for the Aggregator, but also for the Radio to the Past. Now , both are broke. It all started when I got let go at work on Nov. 21. I had stopped my practice of Continue Reading
I find myself often resisting by default the categories I have set up, feeling as I often do that I can’t really categorize some things as “theological” (and thus in the “Theoblogical” category) and others , well, NOT. I noticed that on Martin’s Blog Flow, he links to my Theoblogical Category, and so I wonder if he’s seeing any of Continue Reading

Is there anything with RSS and News Aggregation and/or syndication that will help me in my quest to move my blog to another address and direct people who find my old address to the new, and people who subscribe to one of my RSS channels can get notified?
Has anybody asked about creating subcategories in Radio? With an XML structure, this is possible, No? And if the Calendar function that is used to find archived postings is also XML, then why can’t a calendar also be used for something like, uh…. calendaring….in other words, scheduling? The reason I ask is because such features would make building a Church Continue Reading
ecunet test this one I keep having a problem with this. (Now fixed….it seems) It keeps posting to my home page.(my script was written over when I reinstalled Radio….whoops) before: I keep having to move it using the Radio editor and the category assignment checkbox. I guess that is not ready for prime time.(But maybe it’s me that’s not ready)….. I need Continue Reading
My Calendar in
