Bringing Over Radio Stories

I have just added the two most recent “Stories” from my Radio blog to this MT blog. I realized this will take me FOREVER at this pace. I also have the problem of the Dates…I want to preserve the original entry date. There must be SOMETHING I can do to import these things. I have a MT “category” called “Stories” set up, and I cut and paste the HTML from the actual text of the article out of the stories template html file from the “Rendering” directory in my RadioUserland Application. Like I said, there HAS to be something better. I know there are SEVERAL converts among MT users from the land of RadioUserland.

You want to use Exporter from Bill Kearney:

I’m just finishing up moving my posts to radio at my old domain (http://joe.weblog.or.id) and moving them to my new MT blog at http://www.joefriend.com/blog.

It has worked pretty well. It does retain the original post date. Categories are lost. I’m going through each of my 500+ posts to clean them up. No other way, but they come across in pretty good shape.

Actually, that is Exporter is what I used to move all the regular posts, and I did them by category. I just want to find something to help me with the Stories.
