I hate this wide screen on the home page!

Why does the text in the entries go off the screen? That requires the reader , unless they have a really wide screen, to scroll sideways, which is pretty rude of a webpage. HOw can I fix this?

I was going to comment on that as well. Surely this is a setting in your style sheet. Are you specifying that the division displayed in the main column should be 100% of the window width or something like that? That would make your full screen always wider than the width of the window by the width of your first column. I wound up removing column specifications in my style sheets and putting in HTML in my template to make a table because I wasn’t able to make the three columns work through the style sheets.

yes it’s like that in the default “clean” stylesheet from MT. If you’ve noticed the portion that scrolls off the screen is exactly the width of the sidebar – which is neat in a way.

It’s a real shame coz otherwise it’s a classic template.
