I found how to change the IDs back to what they were when comments were made,  thus restoring the comments to the right entry.  I have replaced 3 or 4 of them,  but there are more that I did not find this morning.  I will be fixing those over the next few days,  to the best of my ability,  and remove all the messages on the entries about how “these comments really belong to this other entry” .

I did it by opening the Radio app and editing weblogData.root and changing numbers by assigning a new, unused number to one of the two entries in question,  then assigning the second one the original ID of the first,  then assigning the 1st one to the original number of the second,  and changing the time if needed to have it appear in the same place on the page if chronological order is significant.  Cool!
