Dempster steps out of the Dumpster

Ryan finally settled down, not that it looked that way starting off Saturday night.  We were headed out for supper,  and I checked online for the start of the Reds-Padres,  and Dempster loaded the bases, but then induced a groundout to end the inning.  I left the computer and went out, and on the Radio a couple of hours later I heard the Reds were up 7-0 in the 6th.  After about 5-10 minutes,  I thought “Hey,  that’s Dempster out there!  Yes!”   He went 6 and gave up 4 hits and no runs,  107 pitches……I wish the weather woudl cool off some so we might get even more out of these guys when they’re pitching well.  Like yesterday,  Mohler gave up a 1st ining 2-run shot to Klesko,  then shut em down through 6,  and the Reds led 7-2.  In comes the pen,  and between Willimason, White , and Graves,  gave up the lead,  Graves blowing his 7th of the year on a 9th inning, 2-run shot by Bubba (his second hr of the game).  I would have liked to have seen how long Mohler could go,  since he had thrown 5 straight scoreless frames.
