Anxious Next 24-48 hours

Here we are , on the eve of the most important election I believe our country has EVER had. With the record turnouts expected, polls may well not shut down for hours after their “closing” , having to service all who are in line as of closing time.

Even with the encouraging signs of Kerry surging, I remain on edge anticipating some sort of widespread skullduggery. And then, as the election is CALLED and final tallies come in, a new round of legal challenges, which will scare me to death if it is the Republicans challenging a Kerry victory. It’ll be an extreme version of the anxious moments while one awaits the replay officials verdict on whether or not my team’s great play will be “reversed”. An EXTREME version with so much at stake. I’ll be truly afraid for our country and our democracy, and the stability of the world if Bush gets into the White House (hoowever that is achieved).
