A comment a few posts back asked this question, so I am taking a few moments to “count the ways” that Bush is an evil and inept President.

Anthony says: Can you demonstrate to me how John Kerry has demonstrated or exhibited a greater witness as a Christian?

Yeah, Anthony, Kerry is a greater witness by NOT BEING evil. Bush is EVIL because:

He gives everything he can to the richest in our country, and the rest of us pay the bill (as will our children)

He goes to war when he wants to , no matter what the evidence and better judgment is, and lies to us to deceive us into allowing him, and now he is not trustworthy for that among many other reasons

He endangers the health of Americans by ignoring the Health Care costs and continuing to help the Pharmaseutical companies, and ignoring the need to get flu vaccines (he was warned about the shortages over a year ago.)

He endangers the world’s stability with his self-centered arrogance about America, and shuns the rest of the world. The Church as a whole in the world opposed his Iraq rationalizations, and his obvious determinati on to go to war.

He subscribes to a neoconservative world and political agenda that will only deepen the chasm he has dug between our country and the rest of the world. He is a danger to world peace.

He is the ultimate in pride that will be his ruin, and if not stopped, the end of the world as we know it. HIs insane ideas about the “willingness” to use Nuclear Weapons and walk away from all of the progress of the past 20 years is a sin of unspeakable magnitude, and an indication of utter cluelessness about morality.

He is a constant deceiver and twister of words, telling outright mistruths and applying Orwellian “trickphrases” for names of programs that do the opposite of their names (like “Clear Skies” for policies that make it OK to pollute the air — and says they are “voluntary”, like he believes that the comapnies who don’t care about what they put into the air will “voluntarily” see the light> And “Healty Forests” to describe policies that encourage the clear cutting of forests.

He is absolutely inept at NationaL Security, ignoring clear warnings that had reached an unprecedented level, and ignored the Terrorist director who had been carried over (invited by their own administration, apparently a way to make it look like they were doing something….but Bush rejected Richard Clarke’s appeals for a chance to brief the President for NINE MONTHS!! When Condoleeza Rice FINALLY passed the breifing point to the Oval Office, it was September 10, and Bush was in Florida.

He went on vacation after receiving the August “PDB” (Presidential Daily Brief”) that said “Bin Laden determined to strike in the US. NO meetings were held to even discuss it. When confronted over and over again about growing indicators that Al-Quida was planning somethign big, Ashcroft, the man in charge of anti-terrorism and the security of the homeland, said “I don’t want to hear any mlore about Al-Quieda!” And BUsh keeps him on (since he is prving to be just as clueless as Bush himself is.)

The list goes on and on.

And he is absolutely the worst qualified president we have had in a century, if not for all time.
