Cheney made a huge mistake in referring to factcheck.org. It is their own worst enemy, but hey, it sounds good ; makes it sound like there ARE actually supporting facts. Aside from his URL gaff (.com instead of .org) , anybody going to factcheck.org gets a full dose of the lopsided listings chronicling Bush/Cheney “facts”. Cheney has looosed the reality from the phrase “The fact is” by his constant deception. His entire dramtic spiel about never having met Edwards as he “presides” over the senate is one big lie on all counts. He has met Edwards —- calling him by name in one such setting— and he rarely presided over the ACTUAL Senate (instead, he chaired or “presided” over private meetings with “Republican Senate members” to map out strategy, and I don’t think Edwards qaulified for those closed door meetings with Cheney’s closest friends in the Senate. The videos showing him and Edwards (even facing each other, shaking hands backstage on Meet The Press (per Tim Russert) unmask the anything goes outright deception of this administration).
