My take is, if they’ve used that successfully up to now, then why change? And why expect them not to continue the distortion, appeals to the most simplistic and inane analysis, and then sound bite it to death? This is the way the Bush administration keeps their real agenda secret from the American people.

The most dangerous kind of “waffling” is not saying one thing one time and then another somewhere else. The most dangerous is saying one thing repeatedly, and then DOING another, often the complete opposite. Bush promises “common sense” policy, and then this translates into giving regulatory jobs to the very lobbyists for comapnies who fight such regulations, after all, they don’t think they make enough money. Another 4 years of this deceiver will turn our land into ming , drilling, and polluting havens for developers, and they will produce their own “science” to deny that the efeects are real, and continue to mouth the denials, and mouth the platitudes only an Bush-head could love.

They (the Bush heads) have something in common with their commander-in-chief: they reject any evidence showing that they are wrong. That’s another grave danger of this president. ( I almost hesistate to apply that otherwise lofty title to this master deceiver).
