I think a significant majority of us in the U.S. reject this anything-goes attitude and will therefore reject its practitioner-in-chief.

I would hope so, but I wonder how many of these Bush supporters actually believe any of these things we’ve been noticing about Bush’s policies. I know many of my conservative Bush-supporting acquaintances do not believe that Bush is selling out. They think it’s all political attacks.
