Dissent is not contempt

This statement from the conservative Washington Times illustrates how clueless they are about the difference between the opinion of the justice of a war, and the not-at-all obligatory matching “contempt” for the people who have to carry out those orders. The burden of responsibility lies with the leadership. Obama asked us in his Democratic Convention keynote if “we were really serving (a name I forgot) well” ; he had just beamed about the dedication of this young man in the armed forces.
