I’ve been getting blasted by a glut of comments that point to http://web-development-company.beashes.com (I wouldn’t go there). How does one stop these scum when they use a different Ipadress each time, and a different email (somefemalename@yahoo.com) ? I just go to the datbase and delete them.
Dale, you might want to close your old entry comments. That will keep your comment policing down to one or two recent posts…
I have several weapons in my arsenal to fight comment spammers. And they do a reasonable job against comment spam.
To block spambots, the commenter has to select that he is not a spambot. Spambots aren’t smart enough to select that.
Also, I disallow any url postings. That stops most manual comment spams.
If anything gets past these, in my comment notification email, I have a delete this comment button.
