COS 2004

It’s been a while since I blogged about The Church of the Saviour. Although I haven’t blogged about something COS-ian, they are always a part of me. There are thoughts and longings about the Church spread all over my Web writings. I have journeyed through several spiritual explorations in a small community for 2 years (back in 1995-97, with a group that met at Old Saint George). I just did a Google Search to see what’s new on the Web that would give me some news on what has been happening there. (I STILL savor the hope that some day, I might be involved in doing some Web development and envisioning for them and WITH them in order to help “get their story out”, just as Elizabeth O’Connor did for them for some 40 or 50 years through her marvelous and inpiring writing. Her books inspired cross country pilgrimage treks by numerous persons captured by the vision and community life of which she wrote.

I found this account of one such pilgrimage by Kevin Rains from the Vineyard Community in Cincinnati, OH (just up the road from Old Saint George).
