Today and tomorrow I ‘ll be in my “OSG East Tower” office, between sessions with Larry in his office exploring where we are in the OSG Web development.
I put together the lion’s share of a complete Content Management system (at least for the Web copy portion of it) so sections can be easily updated. I sure would like to get dotText going so I can begin perusing the code and the inner workings of the DotNet world via Blog applications.
I have also done a bunch of Flash, and am eagely awaiting the MX 2004 version books that are supposed to come out this month. I have picked up one, which is theOsborne publication, The Complete Reference: Macromedia Flash MX 2004…..I’m most interested , at this point, with the new Flash MX 2004 HOT (Hands-on training) book from Lynda.com .
The nice thing about having copy coming from a database is that I can do either straight HTML or Flash or combinations thereof, and get the copy from the same source. One of my early goals for this content system is to get it hooked up to Calendar data, and get a copy of DotNetNuke installed here.
