NAV Pro 2004?

I saw some bad reviews (complaints of slowing down systems) of NAV 2004 (this was under the Pro version). CompUSA has a deal for 9.99 after 3 rebates (one 30 and one 20, and one instant at 10) for the Pro version , which includes 2 licenses. Any good, indifferent, or bad experiences with this?

Back from “the George”

I’m back from the George, and looking around in the DotNetNuke forums for signs of development of a DotNetNuke integrated Blog module. The last post I see (other than mine today) is August. I also place the redirect file in my Radio blog root directory so all requests now redirect to this Movable Type Blog. Radio is old hisotory now, Continue Reading

Blogging While watching Rheingold talk about Smart Mob Technology

I saw via my News Aggregator that Smart Mobs linked to a 90-minute talk given at Stanford by Howard Rheingold, so I fired it up, moved it over so Howard was talking on the left part of my screen while I continued checking the News, Technorati, etc. (BTW, I’ve been using Bloglines almost exclusively now, as my “Radio” days become Continue Reading

Comments on Brochureware and Mission Statements

Anyway, I posted a comment under the post where he links to my article about the Brochureware approaches Continue Reading

What’s happened to Bloglines.com?

What’s happened to bloglines.com?. What’s up with bloglines.com? I’ve been using that a lot more lately instead of the Radio Userland News aggregator, since I’ve been running a lot of DVD creation stuff overnight, and didn’t want the Aggregator interfering with that process every hour. But bloglines.com has been unreahbale for the past two days….are they down, knocked out by Continue Reading

Bathroom Reading

How can I describe this? It’s basically the 21st century version of bathroom reading. Like taking one’s favorite mag or newspaper to the “throne” to sit for a spell. Only today, it was my PDA, now able to connect to my 802.11b within the house, to check email , one of which was a notification that a comment had been Continue Reading

The PocketPC

The new toy, which I got at a good closeout. The WiFi spot convenient to me in Southeast Nashville (Lavergne) is Perk Central. I went there the night I got the Pocket PC (a couple weeks ago), and was unable to connect. That Sunday, I tried 3 spots in the Vanderbilt area (Bongo Java on the Belmont Campus…or acrosss the Continue Reading
