These guys are a perfect example of the “shock” that happens when they personally bear the brunt of the policies and have their eyes opened and pay attention to what their “leaders” are doing.  They have been “awakened” because they suffered consequences that affected them,  and it opened their eyes.  And they are also an example that more GOPers need  to emulate. They need to be yanked from their dream world of ideological nonsense ad un-provable, unsustainable garbage economics,  and see what the GOP party has become. 

It’s so sad that so many continue to keep their heads buried in the sand as these same measures work their way through to eventually affect them, and sadly,  in so many cases,  it takes a great deal more to pull them out  of their denial state because they have turned off their radars and handed their power to reason over to the poisonous  political rhetoric and disseminators of this manipulative disinformation.

And  of course,  Steele claims “I ca’t speak for Florida and Ohio”  (he forgot Wisconsin, Michigan,  and Tennessee,  etc etc.)  What a bunch of  GOP BS, of course.  This is “The plan” for these GOP lapdogs of big money.  Strip the democratic party of base support,  to further clear the way for yet more siphoning of  money from where it is needed to where it is  least needed:  the top 1%.  This trend has escalated to record levels in the past 30 years,  at faster and faster rates.  And GOP “true believers” continue to deny it and scream “left wing paranoia”, even as their standard of living falls with the rest of us.
