Gonna need  some time  to sift through this,  and listen through the filter of some folks I trust with this stuff. (For instance,  Gillmor Gang is hopefully going to be on around 3 pm CDT today – about 3.5 hours from now — and will be tackling it to be sure.  Leo Laporte’s This Week  in Google with Gina Tripani and Jeff Jarvis went through the Google-Verizon deal Wednesday.  The Gillmor Gang will have the added resource of this Google reponse.  I admittedly am entering into reading this predisposed to be on the defensive with Google’s justifications,  given that Jarvis is so inclined,  and knows Google about as well as any journalist.  So off I go,  but  I wanted to blog  and tweet a heads up about this article.
