The Next Gen of my WordPress

I was thinking this morning about how excited I was in the 90s and in that first decade of the 2000’s about online community, specifically for the cause of churches, but within that, for the cause of politics of justice and confronting economic inequality and , even then, an ecological sense that was not yet in crisis mode like it became for me in 2014. But after fixing/updating my blog and seeing some of the things I had set up during my early days of administering it in 2004-2014, I thought I ought to do a more focused and prevalent persistence of eco crisis things on all facets of the site, which would lead to a host of upgrades to functionality (in WordPress, this usually means a lot of new “plugins”. The WordPress world could use a lot more “ecologically focused” , AI driven features to help create a portal to ecological crisis resources, not the least of which would be Eco-community. Stay tuned, and visit me at http:// ecoecclesia.org (make sure you specify http and not https, which some browsers automatically add if you just enter ecoecclesia.org in the address bar. That’s another thing I need to upgrade, which may entail moving all my stuff to a new host. I want to find a more WordPress centered, well supported host for WordPress functionality. I also don’t need the Windows server stuff anymore (like when I joined this host 20-25 years ago when I was working as a web developer and writing ASP and using MS SQLserver) and want to go total open source.
