A Final Flex Day

This summer I was on what they call at work a “Flex schedule”,  where I work 4 days out of the week,  adding on a couple of hours on those 4 days to make up for the other “5th day”,  which for me, has been Wednesday.  Today is the final of those days before returning to normal next week (after the holiday on Monday,  which means I get to work 4 regular 7 and a half hour days next week).

Last week I did a little training for 5 days,  so I didn’t get my “off day”.  So I slept in,  made some coffee, and am doing my morning RSS scan and reading of articles,  and my son is off at school (albeit only 25 minutes away),  but he’s not in his room.  I slept in his bed last night to see if that bed is better for my back.  It seems to be.  I may have to look into the sleep number bed.  The one we bought a year or so ago wasn’t a good deal for my back.

So I’m taking it easy this morning.
